This summer, Southland players will have an excellent opportunity to learn from a Division I coach at the Leverage Lacrosse Summer Camp. The camp, which will be hosted at Mira Costa High School July 9-12, will be led by High Point University Head Coach Jon Torpey, HPU Assistant Coach Ron Garling, and Leverage Lacrosse President Chris Jewett. Check out the press release from Leverage below for more information about the camp!
Hello SoCal Lacrosse Families,
Leverage Lacrosse is proud to offer a high intensity lacrosse camp that is unique to other lacrosse camps offered in the South Bay, Los Angeles and Southern California markets, as Division I level coaches will be instructing the campers in small group settings, which provides for more individual time with each player. Along with traditional field lacrosse principles, this camp will also focus on box/field lacrosse philosophies first introduced to the Los Angeles lacrosse community two years ago by Leverage Lacrosse.
This camp is designed for boys from grades 1-12, from novice to the most advanced player. The coaches will work on developing the entire player through innovative drills, individual skill work and fun game play.

Bonus On July 10th from 7pm to 8pm Coach Torpey will also offer a FREE recruiting seminar to parents and players signed up for the Leverage Lacrosse Camp. This is a chance for both the parents & player to talk an active D-1 coach directly. If your son has aspirations of playing lacrosse at the collegiate level there is no better opportunity in our area this summer to learn what it takes to do so.
