In November, Team USA players visited San Clemente for a boys lacrosse clinic. This past weekend, San Clemente once again played host to a US Lacrosse clinic, this time a girls clinic coached by women’s national team players. MaxLaxOC was at both events, and captured some great footage.
Leverage Lacrosse is hosting a free boys lacrosse clinic Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Laurel Park in Los Alamitos. There will be two clinic sessions, first for beginners in Grades 1-5 from 4-4:50 p.m., followed by a U11-U15 clinic from 5-5:50 p.m.
Faceoff-specific training seems to be a growing trend in lacrosse, with organizations like Greg Gurenlian’s Faceoff Academy and FOGOLax teaching faceoff specific mechanics and drills. Adrenaline caught the faceoff bug over the summer with its first Faceoff Challenge in Orange County. Now, ADRLN and the Faceoff Factory are bringing the program to Los Angeles on Dec. 28 and to San Diego on Dec. 29.
The US Men’s National Team will be holding a clinic this Sunday, Nov. 3, for boys in Grades 3 through 12 at Vista Hermosa Sports Park in San Clemente.
Adrenaline is offering a six-week skills-focused training program to be held at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine beginning Nov. 3.
