Saturday is clinic day, with age-group sessions — U9, U11, U13, U15 and high school — running throughout the afternoon and evening at St. Francis High School in La Canada. St. Francis, incidentally, is adding a CIF-sanctioned lacrosse program this year, and from what I was told over the summer, a number of Pasadena Lacrosse kids will be part of the program. Anyway, coaches for the clinics include Mike Delabar (Viewpoint School, formerly of Loyola HS), Chris Wells (middle school coach at Viewpoint), Kyle Smith, Will Reedy and Brett Tietjen.
Sunday, the venue shifts to Robinson Park in Pasadena and features a shooting clinic with LXM Pro players Zack Greer and Erik Krum from 10:30 a.m. to noon, followed by a college fall-ball scrimmage between Loyola-Marymount and USC beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The clinics are free for kids already registered for Pasadena Lacrosse’s Fall Ball program and $10 for for non-Pasadena fall players. Tickets for Sunday’s shooting clinic and game are $5 (included if you register for the Saturday clinic).
