The Pacific Goalie Academy is hosting a goalie clinic for players of any skill level at Redondo Union High School on Dec. 8-9 for boys ages 10-18.
The clinic looks to be a top notch event for keepers looking to get expert coaching on topics ranging from warm-ups and stance to clearing and communication. The clinic will be coached by PGA directors Mike Gvozden and Jay Pfeifer. Gvozden, the current Loyola Marymount head coach, was a three-year starter at Johns Hopkins. Pfeifer, who also coaches in the Southland as the head coach at Harvard-Westlake High School, played his college ball at Syracuse. Between the two, there are 3 NCAA Division I championships and a wealth of knowledge to provide young goalkeepers.
