The Orange County Chapter of US Lacrosse is out to the Grow the Game in a big way. After a free clinic last week at the Orange County Great Park, intended for boys and girls ages 7-14 to try lacrosse for the first time, OC-US Lacrosse continues its attempts to grow the game with the Newport Beach Challenge, a two-day festival including free scrimmages, clinics, and an equipment drive! Check out the press release from the OC Chapter website:

  • U15 girls are invited to come out to play in a scrimmage starting at 10 a.m.
  • U19 girls scrimmage will begin at 11:15 a.m.
  • Both games will consist of two 25-minute running halves and a 10-minute halftime

There is no cost to come watch or play, but donations to OC US Lacrosse are appreciated!

Sunday Events
Orange County US Lacrosse will be at the field once again taking donations of sticks for lacrosse.

  • FREE Clinic today for all Kindergarten to 3rd grade girls and boys

The clinic is being provided to show your players the fundamentals of lacrosse and will include stick skills, catching, passing, ground balls and other basic tools. The event will conclude with a scrimmage game to provide your player with all the basic FUN of lacrosse!

We challenge our U11, U15 and U19 players to see who brings in the most donations! All funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for lacrosse clinics to grow lacrosse.
