Concordia’s Seguin leads local MCLA Division-II All-America honorees

Concordia junior attack Destin Seguin, who led the Eagles in points with 77 and goals with 47, was the lone Southland representative named MCLA First-Team All-America, though the area was represented well throughout the rest of the list of honorees.

Destin Seguin, pictured in a preseason scrimmage at UCLA, helped Concordia reach the MCLA national tournament.

The Eagles also placed players on the second and third-team All-America lists and also received an honorable-mention nod.

Senior LSM Kody Kareta of Cal-State Fullerton received second-team honors, and teammate Paul Morgan, a senior defender, was named to the third team.

Kody Kareta was part of a veteran defense for Fullerton, which finished 15-5.

Senior Paul Morgan captained the back line for Fullerton.
